Surfing

Surfing at Rincon Point on the Ventura/Santa Barbara county line. Used a Nikon F4 film camera and 300mm lens with Fuji transparency film. It was late in the day and backlit so there was very little color in the slide so after scanning I colorized the photo in Photoshop.

Wheat

Black and white photograph of wheat field just outside of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Used a Nikon F2 film body and a 400mm lens and scanned the film with a Nikon Coolscan 9000. Learned my lesson about wheat fields on this shot as they are filled with chiggers and I had bites all over me. Not going to wander into one of those ever again.
