A couple of boats in Gustavia harbor in St. Barthelemy. Used a Linhof 612pc panoramic camera, Fuji transparency film, and Nikon Coolscan 9000 scanner.

Dear Craig Brewer,
How did you manage to scan the 6×12 slide with the 9000 scanner? Officially 6×9 is the limit and that is what I was able to accomplish until now, so, I would be very grateful for any advice!
Thanks,

Werner, you are correct, the largest size the 9000 can scan is 6×9cm. But with a little Photoshop magic you can make it happen. With the glass carrier, slide the 6×12cm transparency into the holder so that one end is visible and then scan. Then reinsert the transparency so that the other end is visible and scan that. You will have plenty of overlap in the middle, so then open both scans up in Photoshop and go to “File” then “Automate” and finally “Photomerge” and follow the procedure. Photoshop will then automatically merge the two picture ends into one.
