This was shot for a theater group upcoming play. The comedy/tragedy masks used to be used frequently many years ago to denote acting. Don’t know if younger people today would make that association upon viewing it. Was a really simple shot that didn’t take much time at all. Had someone go out and find the masks, then I cut some lumber and laid it out to simulate a wooden floor and propped the masks up from the back for a good angle to the camera. Used a Cambo 4×5 camera, Kodak transparency film, and one Speedotron strobe head in a softbox to the side to capture the image.
