Many people like to talk about our rights as American citizens, but surprisingly have never read the Bill of Rights and the Constitution. This organization wanted to make it easy for anyone to have the info readily available so they printed a pocket sized booklet with both printed out inside. An artist made and aged the props since it would be impossible to photograph the real documents. Found the nice antique wooden table in a university library lobby and shot it after hours to minimize distractions.
Needed a really good sized table because the props were large and the booklet had a wrap around cover so a lot more wood is showing than in this cropped version. Used a Cambo 4×5 camera and Fuji transparency film and Speedotron strobe lights in a large soft box.
