Fall Leaf

Went to The Getty Center and of course was inspired by all the man made art. But what caught my eye while walking through the garden was a dying leaf that was more beautiful than anything I saw in the museum. It wasn’t on a marble pedestal with artfully placed lights revealing every nuance, but lying in the shadows of earth and grass. It’s a beautiful world, but sometimes you have to look in the hidden places to find what you are really looking for. Photograph taken at the Getty Center Museum in Los Angeles, California, California. Used a Nikon D3 body and Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8 lens and did the photo processing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
