The Sunset That Wouldn’t Quit

Was watching the clouds Monday afternoon and thought there might be a good sunset so I walked over to the Redondo Pier. Just before sunset the sky was pretty nice so I took a bunch of pictures. It was really windy and freezing cold (by LA standards) and I kept wishing the sun would hurry up and go down so I could go home. Finally finished and packed up to leave and a couple of minutes later I took one last look and the sky just went crazy with color so I had to run back and shoot some more. This was the best one and although I sometimes do a lot of Photoshop adjustments to make the pictures look better, on this one I did not do anything to enhance the color, it was that pretty. Took this photo with a Leica D-Lux 6 camera and finished up the processing with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
